Wordless Wednesday #2 : When you are too fancied by life

I always think that learning from the experienced and wise is a need. Nobody is perfect. Thus, there will always be things that you can learn and things that you should not learn. That is what many of us are thinking.

Have you ever think of learning things from a person which has less experience and is younger than you? Looking from another point of view, this is something which is not wrong as well. When we have been doing something over and over again, sometimes we tend to get used to it and overlooked our mistakes. Some people may be younger than us but they listen, the observe and they think more than us. When it come to knowledge, age, gender, race and all those shouldn't be made an obstacles.

When you think you are too good, look up, there will be people better than you. When you think you are doing really bad, look from a different perspective, how you can make yourself feel better or look down and see the people worse than you. Help them if you are capable of - you experienced the times where you looked down on yourself. You know how they feel, help them.

Looking at successful people should not discourage you and looking at unsuccessful people is not for you to laugh at them, but everything should be made an encouragement for you to proceed and improve life, making the world a better place to live.

Saturday Outing : Movie Review - Allegiant

Yesterday my friends and I, we went for a movie at Gurney Plaza. There was seven of us with lots of food. I ate throughout the whole movie, which was fun. Not to mention we ran searching for toilets right after the movie.

Well, straight to the point - the movie ! Yeay~ Allegiant is the third series. Well, I've watched Divergent but not Insurgent. We were wondering what actually happened in Insurgent that the boarder was built and all. Anyways, you can still watch only Allegiant because you can still understand the story without watching the previous series.

It started off with the introduction, which I found interesting. Human are locked up, yeah. Locked up. There was this boarder, well.. a great wall built in Chicago by Evelyn, Four's mum. They prevent everyone there to travel out of it. They locked up all the Erudites (One of the factions introduced in Divergent series) and tend to kill them all. There was complications between Evelyn's people and the Allegiants who think they should maintain the factions.

Just if you did not read any of the books or watched any of those movies, let me tell you the heroin is Beatrice (Tris) and the hero is Tobias (Four). Both of them did not agree with the idea. Tris received a message from someone outside and they decided to escape. A few of them fought their way out and found that the world is badly damaged then. The radiation was terrible.

The community that has invited them there was living with high technology. The manager, David talked Tris into being a part of their experiment to save the world - to bring back humanity. Four then found out that David and his community is not in the right path. They killed the adults, which they claimed infected and injected a serum so that the children forgets everything. David then planned to persue his plan in Chicago, through Evelyn. He sent Peter to talk Evelyn into releasing the serum to win the Allegiant.

Tris then realised her mistake. They all went back to help. It was hard to fight David with his advanced technology. But as usual, like most movies does - the heros won the game, with a little plot twist. Want to know more? Watch the movie for yourself ! :)

Batu Ferringhi, Penang

For a Malay version - Versi Bahasa Melayu

Hi, last month my friend and I went to Batu Ferringhi to "return" the seashells we collected for a project. Well, the project did not turn out well and we decided to "return" the seashells to their home, the beach.

Yes, I do agree that we actually exaggerated it a bit.

We buried some of the seashells and threw some of it back into the sea. It was really tiring but fun. Digging and throwing with human power. (Yes, we did not bring any equipment. We dug with our bare hands and throw the seashells just like that, one by one - without using any prototype!)

And after the long and tiring disposal of seashells, we continued to drain our energy by building a "sandcastle" with the unlimited human power. My friend is actually an art stream student while I am in the science stream. I think she had enough listening to me and my physics concept and how the chemical energy are used to build such a castle. But, despite being a science stream student, I think I am much more into building the sandcastle than she did.

She first made a small cube by gathering a pile of sand with her bare hands. I actually thought it didn't look like a cube so I shaped its edges. She fancied the cube and started to gather more sand into the pile while I shaped the edges. That's how it went. Finally, we created a three layer of cuboids! *claps* We tried to make the China kingdom we have seen in dramas. I tried my best to shape them perfectly with bare hands while she got kind of annoyed.

I was like "An art stream student should be more particular about this and you think this is ok. I don't xD" And she went like "Oh, come on.. this is way better than how we thought it will come out to be.." When she started to look at her phone while flashing me her I-need-to-go-home look, I went "This is crooked!" "This is out of shape!" "Weyh, this is too much to the right, I stress now.." Finally we just go on with the one in the picture. I know the lane is towards the left (lol)

The beach is so beautiful. Wanna go back there.

Preview : Next Destination : Khun Thai Restaurant

I was just looking for a place to visit in Penang when I found this restaurant at www.timeout.com . As a Penangnite myself, I would not assure you that I've travelled to all parts of this small island. There is always more to explore. Next year I will be entering college and I am not sure if I will still be in Penang so let us take the remaining time to explore our hometown?
